Default GS-R vs. everything else

I wrecked my CD7 and now I really want a GS-R. I want one because of the extra horses and VTEC, of course. Are there any other highlights of a GS-R over say maybe an LS or RS. I am looking at like 94/97s if it matters.

if you get a GSR make sure that you get the leather. that is a good thing as well as the vtec... and you get a super cool spark plug cover!!

I don't know if GSR leather seats are really a plus. Those things are so damn slippery when making turns. Plus.....I HATE leather seats!

The GSR has a shorter geared tranny.

The GSR has higher theft and isurance rates.

The GSR is a chick magnet.

My RS is a chick repelant.

...you also get a sun roof, manual transmission, one more pedal, slightly different suspension, those stupid 'hammer head' wheels that all those cute little ricer guys like to steel and install on their ****-*** civics.

I was going to list more, but just lost interest in this thread. Merry Christmas.

why is everyone being such an ******* to this person? lol

gsr's come with many more options than the LS
-fatfive wheels
-vtec engine (obviously)
-leather seat option
-shorter geared tranny
-painted side moldings (on the 94-97 ones)
.....the list goes on..pretty much the GSR is worth the extra money you pay for it

Ive never had a problem sliding on my leather seats. I think they are quite comfortable.

LS and GSR differ in motor, tranny, shocks / springs.

GSR was offered in both leather interior and cloth, I believe the 97 GSR came with "LS meshies" other than that the wheels are different. Shift ****! Tachometer. GSR comes with a stock strut tower bar.

The RS is essentially just a Type R shell with the non vtec motor, ls suspension ....etc.

Suspension LS=GSR, except for the rear sway bar. GSR is 1mm bigger.

My black leather is pretty cherry, but I dislike it

Need to find someone local with mint blackish cloth to work a deal out with me hmmmm....

IMO, I wouldnt pay a premium price for a GSR if you see a clean LS for a great deal. Athough these days you can pick up GSR's pretty darn cheap too... so it might be a wash in the year 2007.
