I know someone that wants to sell a b18a1 for $300. It has everything with it(manifolds, dizzy, fuel rail, ect...). All it needs are new rings and a gasket...he didn't say but I'm thinking head gasket. Do you think it is worth $300? Also, what causes rings to go bad?

 

sounds like an ok deal. lots of thngs make rings go bad (wear, detination, and so on)

does it come with tranny or just long block because i seen them run for cheaper with no problems.

 

no there is no tranny...just long block

 

Its close but to me its not really worth it since you can pick those up for that much in perfect condition all day long. But if you are planning on building anyways go for it!

 

waaay to much for a tired b18, just look for a cheaper deal because you have to tear it down any ways... look around enough and you could probabbly find a clean runner w/ no smoke ready to run for 2-300

shoot pick-n-pull only charges 1-200 and theres probably 3-5 at ours right now...
