Mugen Exhuast Pricing
what is a good price for a used ITR mugen complete cat back for the type R? It's in very good condition and I don't seem many for sale around. This seemed the best place to get a good answer with the R guys in here. Thanks for the help
Since people generally like to pay a premium for the Mugen name, chances are that the seller will be asking a premium. Off the top of my head, I want to say $800.00 to $1,000.00 for a used twin loop exhaust.

best of both worlds
so the twin loop axleback bolts on to the t1r b pipe?
what other axle backs will it bolt on to? stock im assuming as well as a few others that end the flange in the same place

That's a damn good idea! I may look into picking up a TL Axle-back!

well i had to do some cutting and welding to make it bolt right on.
had to cut off the flange off the mugen b pipe and weld it onto t1r b pipe and you're good to go

dammit i was hoping this was a bolt on affair. is there any b pipe that hte twin loop will bolt to without problem?
do you have a vid of your car, id like to see how it sounds with the smaller resonator as opposed to the large mugen

Same here. I had a flange custom-made to fit the Mugen muffler, it is just over 2.5". Mine sounds just like itr1244's video. Mine is maybe a little quieter as I'm running a T1R resonated test pipe. Up front, I'm using a 4-1 OEM JDM header. This is quite a nice setup. Plenty of power and nice sound.

yeah all you have to do is make any b pipe's flange to 2.5" (using pipe expender on one side) to match the mugen axle back
