axles on a angle??
what can be the reason for the driver side axle to be on an angle rather than straight in..its a b series in a crx..i jus replaced the axles and noticed that the axle is not completely straight..its goin on a angle toward the rear
Thats normal. It's not supposed to be perfectly strait. Thats why you have CV joints on both ends. Drive it around and make sure there are no binds and no noises and you should be fine.
well getting ur axles rebuilt does not have anything due with the position they re in. the only thing that would make their position change is that if the whole position of the tranny shifts.
alright let me explain why i had to get the axle rebuilt..the lower ball joint screw fell out while i was driving therefore my supsension on the driver side collapsed..the axle was torn and seperated the axle..so im tryn to figure out if there was a possibly that sometihng was bent when this happened..i checked the lower control arm and seemed to be ok..upper balljoint was good, tie rod was good,so any ideas on why it isnt lineing up straight??
o ok. either ur suspension is shot foward. making it look like its going towards the rear (the cv axle) or the engine moved frotwards. check how well the wheel is aligned with the wheel well. if its fowards or back it might give u a good idea of whats going on. and also look at the engine to see if its out of place too. thats the only thing that might couse it. but since u had ur suspension brake on u. i have probably bent the frame. i dont know. many things could have happened
