Mine are amber now. Much nicer on the eyes at night. When its all red, you can't always tell when redline begins.
Then again, the dash I'm most in love with is in my girlfriends A4. Nice red shade, very easy to read in all conditions. Besides, the Audi comes with these little red spotlight LEDs in the ceiling that light up your hand when reaching for the radio / climate controls. Very subtle, but it makes it easier to see what you're doing.

That sounds awsome. I can't wait till I grow up and can afford a grown up car.

Well i was going to mod my cluster somewhat like the link below were he uses a led strip instead of the stock bulbs. This makes it very bright and can be dimmed. I probably wont be doing this since i just bought a jdm itr cluster (got a very good deal), but i opened my gsr cluster to see if this would be possible and this would be very easy to do. I also thought about if you didn't use the led's you could use el wire which is almost like string (like 2mm thick and can be bent into any shape)that lights up neon, they sell this at walmart.
