Default subs in speaker ports..

Hey guys, i can't believe i am asking questions about subs...and i know it should probably be in audio section, but it relates to crx's....anywho, i was wondering if anyone has put like 6.5 in. subs in the rear where the speakers go and if so how it sounded....I wanna keep my trunk space, and i used to have 2 12s but they weigh way too much and i don't need that much bass..i just want it for sound quality, not to make every screw in my car rattle...TIA

get a 6.5 component set and you should be good to go, i have kicker rs 6.5's and they have plenty good sound when my subs arent in there.

i already have aftermarket rears and they still don't hit very low...i don't know if i can deal without subs, haha....i just saw you can buy 6.5 in subs and i thought that would be nice cuz you wouldn't see them and it would be better than nothing

with a little dremel work you can get 8 inch subs to fit cleanly
