Default 92 dx hb 2178lbs vs. 92 dx sedan 2275lbs

Is this true. I got this from
http://www.hondaswap.com/reference/i...is&model=civic
If this is true than why get a hatchback to save 97lbs when you can have a 4door sleeper??? Just trying to get some type of confirmation on these numbers.

Even if it is true, the sedan just looks kinda frumpy.

4-doors = uber ghey.

Is you want to build a sleeper than you have to be creative. Your not gonna be a sleeper if your beating up on slow cars. You need to be whooping 11second mustang's in a twin turbo hundai, that's a true sleeper, something that no one expects. The whole point of a sleeper is to make money, suprise people. If you want a real sleeper call the guys at SFP, a guy that works there is selling a 85' celica with a supra motor, t78 turbo, and nitrous...it ran low 10 second timeslips w/o the nitrous...perfectly streetable too.

Just build a hatch, they are still lighter. 92 vx hatch

I want a 4 door 92-95 civic(for my beater, winter car). Yeah you will probably waste the person next to you but you have to get them to race first, witch is pretty hard with the 4 door.

yes this information is very true...I say build a sedan...the hatch has been so run through (style-wise) but not many people have built a killer sedan, try to be diiferent, why do you wanna look exactly the same as every other honda guy out there?

just my .02

p.s. when you have a fully built 300whp sedan, weight suddenly means a lot less

all of our chassis weights are direct fom honda's website and or helms manuals.

its about as accurate as it can get... but as always, if someone finds something wrong, let us know!!!

My boy has a 4 door EG with a H22 in it. It was actually one of the Civics with a prelude motor, got it done back in 96, by Dr. Charles...

it depends what you're looking for. If you're looking for just straight speed then get a hatch. I have a 4dr with a b18c. I can beat a lot of cars but the only cars that give me trouble are the hatches. My car is a 92 lx. I weighed it in at 2425 pounds without me in it. If i could do it all over again i would get a hatch
