have u tried to find out where the water was coming from? there are numerous places, hole in firewall, leak in front/side window, maybe ( unlikely) a while in floor?

yeah i've tried, nothing visual so my next step is to pull up the carpet and find it. but i wanted to see if it was something else. i did use a firewall hole for subwoofer wiring, but i filled it with silicone chalk to completely seal it.
