Kinda OT: How do you ship a car from coast to coast?
Hi everyone,
I'm going to buy another ITR next month and I wanted to figure some cost before I buy.
The car is located in the Bay Area of California and I live in Atlanta, Georgia.
I know it has to be shipped by a freight carrier, but I wanted to know what's a good company to go with. I also want to know about insurance on the shipping. I was thinking a fully covered, insured shipping.
Please list any companies that you have dealt with personally or have heard of that is very reliable.
Thanks In Advance

No, no no, go here:
http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/BuySell/shipping.htm
I used this guide, it helped a ton.
Quick tips for you:
1.) Ask the carrier to fax you a copy of their insurance, so you know exactly what their insurance covers and if there is any deductible in the event something happens to your car.
2.) Ask if your car will remain on their trailer the entire time or if it will be transferred to anothber trailor or driver at all. You want it to leave and arrive on the same trailor with the same driver.
3.) Use companies with either a covered trailor or a 3 car trailor. Otherwise, othe cars may leak oil on to your car, etc. It's asking for trouble.
Just do your homework, and make sure you trust who you are going to be using.

I can't tell you who to use, but I can tell you NOT to use.... A to Z shipping. they suck! they were 2 weeks late picking up the car and it had 195 miles put on it when it arrived. amazingly, no one could explain any of it.
good luck.... and beware!

Not one complaint on all the times and they were a week early all three times
