and cut/grind/notch etc

Just buy the parts from McMaster and the flanges from a sponsor or BMC.

ya, manifolds are pretty time consuming even if it's just a log.

Don't buy that kit, the pipes come coated and I'm pretty sure are mild steel.

http://www.bmcrace.com has the flanges you will need

And http://www.acestainlesss.com for the pipes, they are much cheaper then mcmastercarr, mcmastercarr price on the t's slowly went up, they use to be $12, but now are $22 last time I looked.

And you will also have to cut the pieces yourself, the kits not like a lego piece set, cutting will need to be done and unless you have the proper tools, cutting sch10 stainless is hard to do unless you have the proper tools.

We can sell you a kit, pre-cut or not pre-cut, IM if you are interested.

I made my own manifold/downpipe and it was HELL. But it was also my first time doing it so thats probably why. The kit has everything cut and ready to go so im pretty sure it wont take that long, but dont do it if you cant weld/customize anything along the way.

like has been previously said, making manifolds is a lot more difficult than people imagine. You need to be an experienced welder and have good equipment for starters. The welds need to be solid enough to support a turbo that can weigh more than 30lbs and withstand the bumping and jarring of driving. Personally i let those with experience build the parts that are going on my car.

IMO buy it from a sponsor or if you're looking to save money, get it used from the Marketplace...

zero boost creep, and faster spool in my experience. i believe the faster spool is because if you look at the bottom of them it has a a funnel (like the apexi filter) to direct the exhaust into the turbo... my friend who really noticed an increase in spool retunes with aem ems everytime he changes a part so im sure that helped too.
