how do u tell if its lsd or not...

i have an sir tranny which is suppose to be lsd...but how do i tell its lsd or not...send some pics...

Take out both axles and look through the differential. If theres nothing in the way like "O" then it has LSD. It theres a rod going through it, its not LSD

Burnout test, spinning wheel test are not gurantee ways to tell if it has LSD or not.

That's the only real way.

Also, most LSD trannies have "LSD" printed on the housing.

Mine doesn't. I think it wore off or something. But it is a Y21 and had no rod so I'm good.
