Default Car Trouble

I'm having trouble with my sohc vtec. It keeps redlining at 5500 rpms. I changed the computer, checked the oil pan for any dents preventing oil flow and its still the same. Any Suggestions?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

He didnt find a definite answer, but he has the same symptoms that you do, and someone mentioned that they ALSO had the same problem, and it turned out being the distributor.

Are you throwing any Check Engine Lights?

Good luck man. I hate problems like this..always a pain in the *** to figure out.
