Default 84-87 crx b16a swap

Hey guys I am new here, but I have one technical question that I can't seem to get feedback on. I am swapping a b16 into my 85 crx hf that has previously all been switched over to fuel injection. I have ran into one small problem and that is with dealing with vss on my pw0 ecu. I know that the hf came with the vss do to the shift up light on the stock cluster. I have already transferred the vss out of that cluster into my new 87 si cluster. I hooked up my multi meter to it and there was a slight voltage increase when the vehicle was driven up and down the street. All I did was hook up the two wires in the back of the cluster. One of them is going to ground and the other has been ran underneath the seat for the new ecu. I guess my question is does anybody know what the pw0 ecu needs to get from a vss in order to function correctly? I mean if it doesn't need much voltage then I think that I am all set with the hf vss swap into my si gauge cluster.
