is it even possible, because i cant get it to work. can anyone show me some pics of your mounting points so i can access the tranny side while on the stand?

what kind of engine stand do you have? i've never seen a driver side engine stand (at least when it comes to b-series motors) most stands are for engine only...sorry not really sure what you are asking...don't you need to take the tranny off the engine to access it?

 

i want to mount the longblock onto the stand to where it is not bolted to the tranny side.

 

sorry but i dont think that exists you have to either keep it on the engine hoist or you unbolt the tranny and use the tranny location bolts to apply it to the stand

 

im not asking for a new stand. im wondering if people have done it with their current stand, and gotten something to work.

 

ive done it many times with my vw stuff, right now i have a bare engine longblock and tranny case on a stand for jigging mani's
