adjustable shocks

Default adjustable shocks

so i no the guy i bought my car from an we talk constantly but i can never get his lazy *** to come over an help me so he told me that my gas shocks were adjustable and i would be able to raise my car back up until i can afford to get my camber kit does anyone no how to adjust them>?

I haven't heard of a gas shock that could raise the car?
Unless it's air/hydro shocks..
Do you mean coilovers springs?

haha im kinda of a noob uh im not sure ill have to check them out i was gonna go over to the guy i bought it froms house but he hasnt called me back since then so i cant even find out how to raise em he told me we could because i dont have the camber kit and my tires are wearing outragesly fast so i need to fix it and get a steering alignment on top of the other things i need to think about with my car but ill get back to you with the names of them and what kind they are

Dang, you beat me to it.

Whether the struts are adjustable or non adjustable, neither will raise the ride height of the car. If it's a coilover spring it will raise it. All you need to do to find out is get down and look under the car to see if there is an adjustment sleeve/threaded collar beneath the spring.

Well this might help.... throw some washers in the rear.... I used 3 washers on the rears. The front your screwed on.... Id suggest skunk 2. Your lookin at about 150 to correct your camber. I would highly suggest geting it aligned also. Tires aren't cheap!
