Hey winners, I did a search to no avail. I would like to ask what would it take to convert a DX EK9 hatch to power windows, and is the heater control on the 99-00 Civic a straight swap to the 96-98 EK9? -- if not what will it take? I'm more interested in the power windows conversion. Please help.

The power window conversion is a pretty job your probly looking a over 15 hours if its your first time

 

Is there a place you can direct me to with a list of parts or walk thru?

Its a Easy job. You need the following parts. I just did it to my 97 hatch over the weekend.

96-98 Civic Ex Power Window Harness
96-98 Civic Ex Floor Harness
Power Window Relay Part # 622878
Any 96-00 Civic Power window Door Panels

 

first you dont have an ek9
as for the climate control, your also gonna need the heater core from 99-00 to swap it in.

so it must be a 96-98 ex power windows and floor harness, so 99-00 will not work? will a 96-00 regulator and motor work or, do i also need the 96-98 ex regulator and motor?

does the harnesses plug right in? do you have some pics on where the harnesses are attached?
