I didn't know they were making replica Mugen wings 6 years ago. I guess the aircraft aluminum center is throwing them off. It is painted over. The black paint can be stripped off and the aluminum will show.

Good eye, only problem is the center piece on mine has been flipped around backwards, I can switch it to where the 3 adjusters are on the front of it. The adjustment holes are on the center piece itself, not on the 2 side pieces.

Just to let everyone know, I have sent an IM on here to another longtime member who I originally bought this from and was told it was an authentic Mugen wing when I bought it from him in 2000. If I am mistaken, then I was misled. I do know for sure it has an aluminum center and it says mugen on the sides, which the pictures show. The only fake ones I have seen do not have anything on the sides. I am not trying to mislead anyone over a 300 stupid wing. I am not Mr JDM, so I don't know everything about them.

Everyone that said its a replica is right, I guess I have been mislead from the beginning, I didn't know much about them 6 years ago, and I don't know much about them till now. I have had this laying around for a couple of years. Anyway, apparently it is the replica like the white one in this post.

Sorry if anyone feels like I tried to mislead them. I see the difference now. You JDM guys know your parts.

there is NOTHING wrong with selling your wing...there is a market for it because the genuine ones are atleast 2 to 3 times what you're asking, and some folks dont mind getting a copy. so, your price is on target. just want to help you out and the buyer out because it could turn ugly really fast if it was sold under the false impression that the wing is the real deal. trust me, i know someone that had this happen to him and he paid the value of a real mugen wing...when he actually bought a fake. sad
good luck to your sale
