i drive a 2000 civc hatchback and the guy i got it from a long time ago has some horrible suspension car drives like a damn piece of wood. Sooo i was thinking about getting suspension from honda and replacing the springs with some tein springs. would it drive better with the stock suspension with tein springs?
If i understand your question correctly, then yes, it will drive better with brand new suspension from honda and tein springs. Teins have a higher spring rate so they will be stiffer than stock so it will be a rougher ride, but i think you will like the results. If the suspension thats on there now is in really bad shape, then any replacement will be an increase in drivability.
Hope that helps

i would suggest getting something like a Koni Red, or other replacement shock. Most likely they will be cheaper then stock, and preform at least as good.

Yeah that would be the best way to go, stock from honda is going to be ALOT of money. Unless you want to have it handle and ride just like it was when it was new, then i would go with koni because of the lifetime warrenty.

the ones i have rite now are really hard like if i go on a speed hump my rear end bounces sooo high and when i am going fast and i am turning and if i hit a little hump on the ground my rear end will jump and sometimes cuz me to spin out of control has happened twice. But my car is also stripped down for rite now with junkyard wheels.
Is it OEM suspension or after market that is on your car now?

Those do not seem like desireable results

no the ones in it now i think are like some ebay stuff. They are red and they horrible when it hits a bump it jumps badly, and very very rough ride.

Hmm... Well i would go with some OEM replacements then and some tein spings. That would give you a comfortable ride.
If it is performance you are looking for i would look into koni/groundcontrol combo

well they are a performance shock. but they are also adjustible. so you can shoose your ride quality. if it is comfort you are looking for, i would just go back to stock.
If you go with any aftermarket setup whether its honda struts and tein springs, your ride will be stiffer. Also if you go with a coilover the lower you drop the car the worse the ride will be with a stock strut. This is because the strut will be compressed due to the smaller spring. Hope this helps.
