GSR TINT

for the guys that have them gsr's, how do you take out that blue tint in the front windshield? i really want to take it out but i dont know how to. can someone fill me in with info? thanks!

It doesn't come off.You would have to get a new windshield

Just put some real tint over it and you won't notice anything.

really? with honda printed on the windshield?

my stock windshield on my 96 didn't have it, and the two windshield that have gone in since have had it (currently PPG).

i've had 3 integras and none have had that blue tint to the window. i can't stand it but now i have a chip in my window and need to get it replaced but don't want that window with the blue tint

The easiest way is to take a brick, take 5 steps back, crow hop and release, this should take care of that pesky blue tint. youll show him whos boss.

on a serious note. I dont understand why you dont like it. Its there to help you. It blocks the sun. I wish mine had it.

My 00 GSR didn't come with that blue strip, and I always hated that I didn't have one. I seem to always end up with the sun right above the mirror, where the sun shades don't reach. When I cracked the windshield and needed it replaced, they asked me if I wanted the coupe or sedan windshield installed, as the sedan has the blue strip. Not sure if that was how they came stock, but thats what the glass shop I went to (and the dealer recommended) believes.

Wow all these people with the same year cars, some have it and some dont. I have a 00 GSR and I have the blue strip in mine, I just went out and looked. I never noticed it till this thread
