Default Got sent to State Ref!!!!!!!!!!Boosted LS need info.

Got sent to a state ref. If i put it back to stock and pass the ref i am done? Also does anyone know if they keep a record of VIN or Plates? Going to reinstall turbo once i leave the ref. What if i get sent again? Can i just pay the fine and not deal with the state ref? What about future smog? Thankz

The GReddy kit, without intercooler, is CARB legal.

take everything that is not legal out and just ref your car if you pass and the ref sign it off you will only pay 10 dallor for the paper work for the court house. After paying the court house just put it everything back on. I got caught like you did and got sent to the Ref and I have to take my fully built LS motor and the turbo out and swap a stock LS motor to it and REF it. My fine was 359 for modifly emmission it was for my piping for my turbo because the cop that pull me over did not know what he was doing. Got sign off pay 10 dallor and got a bar sticker.

No, but god forbid that its legal. I mean, be it today or tomorrow, running non-carb legal stuff will get you eventually.

well i was put in the same situation too n i just received my total bail amount last sat and its 400.60 but i went to the state ref n passed it so im going to court on wednesday n show my proof of correction to the judge and the judge would either not fine me or just give me a small fine. thats what the ppl at the counter at court told me b/c i went in today but she told me if i want to reduced or not get fined i would have to show my correction to the judge.
