Driver Side Seat Noise.... Warranty?
If this is a re-post then I apologize... but this topic does sound familiar. I tried a few keyword search and nothing came up. I've noticed that with a certian level of effort leaning back into the seat, there is a squeak... is that a warranty issue or am I being unreasonable expecting no metal rub or whatever it is causing the noise? I checked and no, it isn't a live animal trapped, nor am I a, "the biggest loser" reject, so i'm wondering whats up with the noise? Thanks.
We've replaced at least one set of squeaky seat rails at my dealership. i've heard a couple people on this forum complain of nosiey / loose seats in there 06+ civics.
take it in and see what they'll do for you.

I get the sqeek noise after my first initial shift. I open the door and sit in the car sideways, when I go to shft to the right into driving position I get the noise. After that nothing. I looked like a maddman today trying to reproduce the noise after I sat down.
I had my passanger side seat rails replaced and the weight sensors were swapped out also because of a squeek. You should have no warranty problem as long as you are still under the mileage, which i assume you are.
I have this same problem. I went to the dealer and the guy there told me in a nutshell it was because I'm fat
I KNOW the seat is messed up and I would like to get this fixed. My seat sounds horrible. He said they tightened the rails or whatever but it sounds like crap. When I sit down it makes noise, when I shift into 2nd it makes noise.
I NEED to get this fixed.

I had this problem and the dealership replaced the whole seat for me.. No more problem after that. If i remember right they said it had somthing to do with the springs inside the seat... But my memory isnt that great so i could be wrong.

ditto.
however it was due to "rocking" and they forgot to screw in the seatbelt to the seat!!!! lol
