my ek-9 teins HA's are smooth with the helper spring in, but you want something cheap......i would say sportlines but try to find a used set of neuspeed sports and make sure your struts are good they would be a bit lower then the sportlines and would still ride somewhat stock, but nothing lowered will ride as good as stock because there will be less travel.

the lower you go the more harsh it will ride until you upgrade the shocks also. i would go spring over coilovers.

I have the green neuspeed springs (sport) and they're quite smooth for a car that's lowered. But go with new shocks and springs combo, they go together in my opinion. Totally improve looks and performance. I hate people who put oversized wheels, i.e. 16's, 17's even 18's and do not upgrade their suspension. "Ricers", is that what they're called? "baduy"
