Default Headlight problems and what are my options?

ok well the pictures might help tell my story but this is whats up. Well i bought the ej6 and well it had eyebrows on it and well the looked like *** to say the least. Well i was going to try and wetdsand them off for i didn'y know what the hell they were. if it was paint or a sticker or what, so i used some acetone and got it off but now the lense is all messed up. Now i know i can wetsand and polish it but wanted to make sure that would help.

sorry if they are too big not sure how to resize

yeah see thats the thing it almost seems that it ate away at the plastic or was absorbed by the plstic or something. It has this wierd texture now and feel for solme reason they are reallyt screwed up but im not sure if doing it by hand with the plastiX will work? or do i need something more aggressive cuz i really don't want to have gto buy another set of headlights. I had to ask before i went and purchased products and whoops nothing works. thanks guys

Wet sand those *******. You'll need plenty of elbow grease, too. I don't envy you.

Or...get a dope set of CTR headlights.

well for me i dont want to buy lower quality headlights b/c these are oem stanley and the best quality. But oem ones and ctrs or sirs or whatever are like 300 or more. i can't do that i need to keep these for i am rather broke but need my headlights a little more operative. I want to try and fix them but want the sure fire way to get them as good as possible. not just make them more blah. Anyone reccomend a more aggressive product to get the scratches out ?
