I know someone said this a week ago but I can't find the post. I want to take off the rotor that came with it (as i've heard some complaints of play) and replace with an OEM one and a screw (DK doesn't have a screw in it, which is why I want to replace it.)

I can't seem to get it off. anyone know how to? Please?

lol, yes. If there is no screw holding it on, how else are you supposed to get it off?

 

pm RTW DC2R and he can tell you how he took his off.

 

Thanks, I'm trying to get it off before I install the dizzy on my car. I'll probably wait til tomorrow and pry it off onces I have the weight of the car to pull against.

 

It can be a PITA, but it will come!

 

I'm just worried I will break the rotor, and I need it in case my idea of using the OEM with the screw doesn't work.

it was pretty hard but i just kept pulling it till it sliped off.

 

Actually this is my first one, have heard a lot of good things about them. it's not even installed yet so it is too early to be saying they suck...

 

i had mines for almost 3 years never had a problem
but recently i had to replace the coil on one on my friends car.
