intake / exhaust combination
Is it better to install an intake and exhaust system at the same time? i hear this is better because with intake only you're getting more air in but same amount of air out. is this valid?
I did both at the same time. But you'll still hear and feel the dif. if you only do the intake or only the exhaust. The stock exhaust and intake are both very good. Obviously aftermarket is better.
Yes, it improves the air flow better. You could also do a high flow converter if you to keep the stock exhaust. Should work the same way as changing the exhaust system.

think of it as a straw from a soda
if its a huge opening at the top and u squee the middle or bottom how much flow are you getting
same works for numerous combo's
INtake to manifold to engine(many parts) to header to cat to exhaust
Each system should be updated in unison to optimize performance
