so i just did a clutch swap in my ls/vtec setup. 93 civic ex. and i got a cel. and my speedo doesnt work. so i check and the vss snapped in half. ok problem solved. but vtec doesnt work either, why? i checked all the wiring and its fine. oil psi, fine. i head a rumor that if you have a cel vtec wont kick in, true?

 

can't be cause I got a CEL on mine (the infamous Code 91 FTP senor) but VTEC works fine.
