What is your stock tire size? If there is no lowering you won't have any problems.

the stock is 215/50/17. i went ahead and got me some re750s at the 225/45/17 without really knowing what it looks like. i thought it'd be the same diameter as stock but it appears it's slightly smaller but noticable. the tire's a great tire but i think the profile is too thin. now i have more wheel gap than i like and i don't care to lower my car anymore than it already is. i should have gotten a higher profile size like 225/50 maybe. not even sure if they come in that size. thanks for the reply

It may throw off your speedo. You can calculate outer diameter of the tire by this:

x= tread width
y= aspect ratio
z= wheel width

x*y*2/2540+z

SO

your stock outer diameter is: 25.46"
your new outer diameter is: 24.97"

Which is going to cause your new tires to read on the speedo 2% lower than stock (ie @100mph it'll read 102, at 50, 51, etc etc) Plus the summer tires will wear faster and cause an even greater change, which will also effect your odometer and the actual number of miles you'll get. I'd suggest 235/45/17's if you can swap em up.
