Default Anyone ever have this problem?

my wippers didnt work the other day..neither did my windshield washr fluid..so i though..ahh it must be the fuse...lean down...check and yes...its the fuse...satisfied because i figured the problem out....i change the fuse...give a click to the wippers....bam fuse blows out again....

now 2 things come to mind, 1) during the week end..a sever intense burning smell was comming from the interior of the car...i couldnt figure out what it is...anyway...it went away..buti couldnt locat any smoke..or nothing...
2) would i have a bad connection somewhere...why would out of the blue...my wippers would have a bad ground or something...anyone can help? where should i beguin checking?>

hard to say... if the switch is broken lets say it could either not work at all.. or cause a short that would kill a fuse.. could be a short mayb near the wiper motor ? u'd have to look and see

This is a really hard problem to look for. First off i would take off the panel thats right around the switch and look for anything that looks burnt out. Shorts are by far the most annoying and hardest things to look for. Take a day off to look for it. If you try on pressed time you probably wont find it.

true that but after reading a few threads on this subject..some say its the motor thats gone bad...and that i would need to change de motor as such...i dont get it...but anyway...its weird that it smelt so bad...i mean the intensity of the stench of burned plastique..was incredible....

ill try looking tonight

True dat, you have no idea how many times I've spent 20 bux for an automotive electric shop to find a short .

Sometimes they're just annoying as hell and you can't find out where the hell they are .
