Default throw out bearing

So i have this sqeaking noise when my car is in neutral with the clutch engaged; but if a slightly tap the clutch...noise is gone. Anyways so its the throw out bearing right? IS there anyway to stop this without taking off the tranny??????

Yeah, its your throwout bearing, but I don't think you can do anything but replace it.

engaged but slightly tap? If it makes no noise with the car in gear with the clutch "in/pressed" then its not the throw out bearing. If it makes noise with the car in neutral and the clutch "out" then its likely an input shaft bearing.

um.... lol

but yeah i have the high pitched squeal and knocking noises from my throwout bearing. slight pressure to the clutch petal will stop the squeal but i have to push the clutch in all the way for the knocking to go away. throwout bearing shouldnt squeal with the clutch in... that's something else.

well I already had my input shaft bearing changed and when I did the metal holders that hold the metal ***** inplace were broken..HOw the hell that happen??????? How did these bearings go bad? Funny thing is after i changed it, i sometimes hear the same noise slightly, but not as much; if i press in the clutch it goes away

But yeah i know that my throw out bearing is squeaking like a mouse, but its not always..So i guess i have to deal with it till i change or take off the tranny and lube it?

I have the same problem, its the throw out bearing. That thing pisses me off so badly at times but then it will randomly go away. Craziest thing is that its a brand new throw out bearing and pilot bearing, I did the clutch, relaced all the bearings and the second i drove it it squeeked. IT SUCKS.
