Just bought B16, water in spark plug...
Just bought a jdm 1st gen b16 from jspec and there is water in the spark plug holes. Everything else is fine, and I didn't notice till I started to remove the plug wires and there was water on the ends. I blew out the water and it's clear and nothing is rusted but I was wondering if this is normal (from steam cleaning) and it shouldn't have any water anywhere else?? I took the valve cover off to get powdercoated and the valvetrain is VERY clean, the timing belt is like new, and the motor all in all was in great shape with a perfect TPS! Anyone else have this problem?
I had water in my sparkplug tubes and my motor runs very strong. I think it just gets in there when they clean the motors before they ship them.
Did you get your swap from www.jspecauto.com ?????? Dear God I hope not....
