no way, type r is way better and stronger than the type s... ive seen a type s with a i/h/e and k-pro still lose to a type r. the k20a engine is way better than the k20a2...

The type-r has better intake, header, cams, intake manifold, and different gearing with shorter final drive. It would win many races against bolt-on type-s'.
The b-series stuff somebody else can answer.

lol if you're referring to a ITR - it's a B18C5 for the USDM and I believe B18C for the JDM

please research

k20a + k20a2 = k20z1 the best of both worlds the Z has type-r parts in it such as nitake minfold and final drive and ehaust and intake components

The z1 does not have a type-r intake manifold, nor does it have the 11.5:1 pistons that the TypeR has. The intake snorkel and the exhaust b-pipe are PRC part numbers, but these parts (intake and exhaust) are all swapped out for better stuff 99% of the time anyway.

The important things like the block, crank, rods, and head are all identical.

In most cases, all that is better engine wise on a complete swap is the extra .5 compression and the slightly better cams (comparing an A to and A2, a Z1 would only be the pistons.)
