Default Shift ****

I'm thinking about replacing the stock shift **** with an aftermarket one. Do you guys have any suggestions as to what to get and why? I've noticed skunk2 is popular. Thanks

It is like 3x the weight of the OEM. Sold my OEM **** on eBay for $80 plus shipping. It only cost me $50 (shipping included) for the Skunk2 6sp.

The titanium S2k **** is dope. Doesnt get super hot or cold and is weighted very nicely.

The only thing with the Skunks is the HOT and COLD. Thats why I like the stock with the leather.

The difference in the 2 are:

Skunk2 is $50 shipped
S2K is around $100

s2k **** is made out of titanium so it's a poor heat conductor.

If I read correctly above, that was the skunk **** vs. stock. I'm wondering how the s2k **** compares to both aside from being "nicely weighted."

How does a shift **** have any effect on the shifting smoothness?? Gripping comfort maybe. This isn't a complete short shifting kit we're talking about here.

A "weighted" shift **** makes a difference. It feels more precise.

Learn something new everyday. Does the 10mm x 1.5mm pitch thread right in? I may consider these after the good experiences everyone's had on this post.
