I think you mean .040, in which case the answer is 1mm

I think they used to (or maybe still do) go 0.040 over in d16a6 motors for ITA--reason being the tiny displacement increase, and since they have to use a "stock dish" piston it increases the compression a bit--but that is racing--for a street motor I would stay at 0.020" over --75.5mm.

OK I think Im going to go 20 over. I would like the motor to last for a while. After a lot of reserch 40 over will work but is mainly used for race cars that will rebuild the motor once a year.

what compression is a d16z6 76mm. Bored .40 ?
