opinion on brake master cylinder for an ED6
when im driving doen the road for a while without aplying the brakes, when i do apply them the pedal literaly goes all the way down. but then i gave to pump them to get it to stop. i believe its the master cylinder because, there not hard, so it cant be the brake booster, its not leaking, nor does it need fluid, it just goes doen all the way after not using them for a while while driving, but i have to pump them so i get fluid in there, or thats what im assuming at least so i can get it to a stop. any feed back is great.
Another possibility is that the rear drums are out of adjustment. its easy to check, put the e-brake on a little and see it that doesn't bring the brake pedal up to spec.
The other test for a bad M/C is to pump up the brakes and then place your foot lightly but hard enought to keep the car still (like if it were on a slight hill) and wait, if after 15-20 seconds the pedal starts to fall then the M/C is naughty
The seals inside the M/C will "bypass" and let the fluid sneak around the parachute seals and no leaks will be present externally
