my instrument cluster & climante control lights wont come on when i turn my headlights on. it been flickering for a while, its on my accord but civics & accords are basically the same as far as headlight switches are concerned. i guess it caused my tail-lights to go out to. its not the dimmer switch.

please help, cant drive my car after the sun goes down

 

mine has about a minute delay between the headlights and all the others to come on.

its probably the switch on the steering column


that is if its not a FUSE

did you check the fuses

 

1baddturbsi: replace the headlight switch or try cleaning it like below. (directions for an EG switch but the process is almost the identical for an EK switch)

oh like the combo switch?? when i would start the car and turn the headlights on the interior lites would turn on with my parking lites and turn off with my headlights. but after it sat for a bit they would come on with the headlights.

 

problem solved. it was a badd headlight switch. u guys are the best thanx
