Default help with purchasing itr

hey guys...im not new to the honda scene for i used to own a 98 integra ls which was completely transformed to a type r. from the emblems to the motor it had it all. i never had any problems with it in 4 years and just last month it got stolen from my university's campus here in New Jersey. It was found the same day a couple of hours later in a nearby town stripped. They managed to take my full usdm interior, jdm steering wheel, system, dash and center console. oem sides, oem rears, oem lip, cf hood, front end, tailights were all recovered. now...this is my question...

i did have an alarm on it(compustar 2 way pager) but it had just stopped working so i was gonna put a new one that same weekend...well the thieves didnt give me a chance..they took it 4 days prior to me getting my new alarm. i guess they already knew what had been happening. anyway...i loved my integra and had no plans of ever getting rid of it since i am a honda guy til the end, however, ive been having second thoughts about getting back into it after what happened...

so my choices were either another integra or an s2k. i know s2k is veryy much less likely to get stolen and stripped than an integra but i was wondering if there would be any way to prevent theft...i then started to think about getting a type r but knowing that i live here in jersey it would be very risky.

this is my question:

with all of the following security features, would thieves actually be able to take the car? i know that there is always the possibility of a tow truck but besides that...would they be able to take it with the following things...

stock immobilizer
relocating the ecu
viper 2 way alarm
cop sirens
back up battery
proximity sensors
interior deafening siren
2 wheel boots (i guess alpha locks)
clutch boot
seat locks
kill switch with fuel pump cutoff

if i were to get another integra it would DEFITNETLY have all of these...would thieves even want to take the car that bad if they knew it had everything on there..?
im just looking for any advice from people who know what its like to own an itr. i know you guys must watch out with your cars especially because they are the real deal...its not an ls or gsr...so its much more of a risk to own a type r. any advice would be greatly appreciated...thanks

frank

First of all, you live in Jersey, don't get an R. R owners have been carjacked at gunpoint in Jersey. You'll get far more daily use out of a S2000. At most, you only have to worry about a slashed convertible top and maybe stolen seats and that can be reduced by getting a hardtop.
Your list of security items is a good start. The alphalocks are useless, plenty of cars still stolen with them on. Better off with a full wheel boot like this Mitico
A GPS tracking alarm would be a must, and not Lo-Jack, but something you can track yourself online. This is essential, since most of the other security features would prevent the car from being driven away but do nothing against getting towed. Unless you chain the car down, towing prevention is quite tough. Garage with a house alarm would help.

And the best thing, secrecy. Jersey show cars don't last very long and don't tell anyone your security measures, especially on internet forums like this one. A prepared thief is a fast thief.

I hate hearing the old, "If a thief wants your car then he'll get it."
It's merely a battle between how badly he wants your caR and how badly you want to keep your caR.

^ Exactly.

I have a Damn laundry list of precautions I take to prevent theft. Which I'll never post online, haha.

The best one though... Is having a daily driver.
