Default Just got an 2002 Civic, Newbee Parts Question

just brought a used 2002 civic ex coupe. dont know much about these cars and just wanted to know some basic info.

- what is the lug size (is it still 4x100 like the old eg's)
- what parts are swapable (like eg and dc parts are swapable.. seats, suspension, etc)
***saw a strut bar on ebay that says fits 01-05 civic and 02-05 rsx***
- whats the average black interior worth (looking to swap my tan and make it black)

also, anyone have the oem alarm wiring diagram, my horn doesnt beep when unlocking door.

1. In stock outfit, it's 4x100.
2. It's closest brethren are the DC5 Integra/RSX, and the EP3 Civic Hatchback. Almost nothing is transferable from older chassis/models, and not much from newer chassis/models as well.
3. I've seen a couple black interiors (complete swaps) run around $500 (USD), but it all depends on location. If you're near a salvage/junk yard, check there first.
4. Your horn will beep on the second lock cycle, if it's wired properly. If not, check http://www.handaaccessories.com for their wiring/installation information. They might be able to help you.

Most Rsx parts are swapable such as suspension with a little bit of work its not to hard i did full rsx suspension swap on my em2 in about 3 hours.

also for motor swaps your only choise is k series which sadly is a alot of $$ but is worth is

for a k20a you are looking at about 5,500 for the motor and if you do it your self a full swap is about 7k IF YOU DO IT YOUR SELF. Most shops would charge in the 10k area.

Ep3 and rsx seats are swapable but you have to drill a hole in order for the rails to fit. Front and back seats work.

And on ebay we have found out that the only strut bars that are really worth anything is either the MEGAN front strut or neuspeed even then its a sligh sttep.

http://www.dezod.com is a VERY good site that has set there worth primarly on Em2s for the last couple of years. for suspension parts i would highly consider goin there.

also as far as modding the D17 its a waste of money.

I/H/E only add MAYBE 2-3hp

but search the site and you will everything you need to know.

some people mod their d17 not because they want serious hp, but they do it just to be different, make some noise, improve gas mileage, have a daily driver that's mroe fun, ect...

a little understatement don't you think? it's probably more like 7-8hp

He meant 2-3whp, probably. And that's not an extreme understatement. It's quite close to reality.

ull probably lose HP in ur midrange, while gaining a measly 2-3 in ur high end. Very not worthwhile.
