B16 cold air intake in Crx?

Default B16 cold air intake in Crx?

I put my cold air intake on today but I dont know what do do with these hoses so I can hook up the hose that runs from the piping to the vc







that blue hose in the last pic is the hose that cam with the intake

the intake didnt come with any nipples for those hoses?

Well you have a fe options, for my turbo set-up since I didn't want to feed boost into my valve cover i just put a filter on the VC and left the metal thing just sitting there...

I think Ideally you should have it hooked up to pull oil vapers back into the motor to be burned...

hold up let me rephrase my question can I just unplug all those hose that are in that picture and just hook up a hose running from the piping to the vc

if the new intake tube only has one nipple you could put just the lower hose to it,,then put a breather filter on the valve cover like loserkid said..

I would never do that, just run a hose to the ground, WHy filter air coming out? Those things clog up and your pressure inside the motor goes up. Let it breath free

You could run the hose to a catch can and empty it in your oil drainpan. I run mine to the ground, most of hte bad **** is caught in my catch can off the back of the block.

one hose is a vac line the other is a coolant line...you can get rid of the metal hose if you run the hose as pictured for the oil vapors and then run a new coolant line
