Default B20A Idling at 3000 Rpms. Need Some Pro Advice.!!!

i have this problem with my 89 lude b20a SI. the car stays at 3000 rpms when ever i try to haul ***. when i stop hauling ***, the rpms wont go down. i already checked the vaccumm by the diaphram and thats not it. i also checked the acc cable and it has plenty slack. it gives me codes 8,9/12/17/14. that was after i was messing with it a little but when the check engine light came on when the rpms stay stuck, it gives me the code for the egr and for the speed sensor. on my car, the sensor is just the speedo cable going to the speed sensor which is mechanical not electric. i replaced that (even though it shouldnt even affect anything) and the egr and it stills gives me those codes when the cars rpms are stuck at 3500. the car runs great, and i just checked the timing. sometimes when its really high, i restric the air by forcing the throttle hard to close a bit and the car comes to normal idle so my guess is, there is a sensor which gives it extra air when it shouldnt when the car heats up? there is a sensor by the tps that is a long cylynder vertically. there is another horizontal on the intake manifold between the manifold and head. they both look alike and from my understanding (dont know much about ludes, more of a 1.6 guy) i think its the iacv.. i replaced the one thats horizontal. please guys, i need to get this fix cus the guy at the smog place wont fix it, im tired of it revving up, and no one will buy it like that. thanks in advance. im trying to get this fixed by early sunday.

fitv... duh... never mind,,, i get it. but doesnt the fitv control the cold idle instead of the warm. im having trouble when the thermostat opens up at warm temperature. isnt the iacv the one that controls the warm and the fitv the cold idle. thankx again.
