looking for a honda s90
hey guys
just recently a few of my friends have been getting into old cafe style hondas and ive been doing a lot of looking. im really interested in restoring or atleast obtaining a Honda S90 60's model of some sort. it does not have to run, i plan on rebuilding the motor anyways, and i can work on the cosmetics also. i would however prefer it has the major parts (tank, seat, forks, rims, motor) still intact. would anyone on here know were i could find one, either an online store or on this site? thanks guys!

That's a nice looking bike. You may also be interested in looking at the old Honda Dream.
Myself, I am giving my 75' Honda the Cafe treatment right now. Definetely a fun process. Good luck in your search.

ya i saw that actually, very nice! however a little over my budget. im actually looking for something thats going to take a little work. ive decided to keep my options open and stick with basically any 60's honda within the 90cc to 110cc range. let me know if anyone has any leads.
I've seen stuff on Craigslist, Ebay, and scouring the internet in general. I'll try and find the link, bu there is a guy that has a full storage shed of early Honda's in various condition for sale. Some are running, some not. He knows what he has, and the prices are on the higher side of things.

That's not even the same motorcycle, that's a 2004 Honda Dream 50R (which is a replica of the 1962 RC110 racer), pretty rare, never officially sold in the US.

If you have your heart set on an S90, by all means got for it, they pop up on ebay all the time. But have you ever seen one of these in person? They are incredibly small, and only do about 45 mph.
If you're trying to acomplish a Cafe look, I'd recomend a CB77 (which is a 305cc), or a CB350-750.

Look for a 89-90ish GB500. you'll be set.

really the only reason i want this bike is to just comute around the small area of town i live in. having something small will save me from getting a MC license which right now i dont have. i ran across a mb50 already cafe'd out but the guy was asking a bit much. im gonna stick with something small. as far as speed goes, that guys mb50 would get up to 55mph, which is plenty for what i need.
