Default Pictures of the R in Sedona (Bandwidth Intensive)

Went on a trip up to Sedona Arizona (near Flagstaff) and did some fun canyon driving. Here are some pictures my girlfriend took while she waited for me at the top (she can't stomach the driving, me e-braking through corners on a cliff is too much for her I guess). Quality of pictures is not that great but oh well...

Great pictures Chris! But why are you holding up traffic in that second picture? It looks like those old ladies are trying to pass you.

The e-braking was actually just done in a parking lot, but she still freaks out. The roads were amazing, some of the best fun I have ever had.

Beautiful!

I drove through the Flagstaff area on my way to Vegas last summer and fell in love. Looking at those pics makes me want to relocate!

Hey...someone local...
an explanation for those who aren't...

Los Angeles, is smoggy. Riverside is downwind of Los Angeles. It's windy in a downward direction a lot. So in the end, LA's smog comes to a rest in Riverside.

LE here is about 5 years lower than the national average and "black lung" is starting to come back. Well...not really...but you get the picture.

onyx,

we need to work on getting a good get together with some of the locals. there have been a few small meets at autocrosses and nasa events, but i'd like to see us get together for some good runs... like sedona or even closer like sahuaro or bartlett lake (awesome roads).

Definately, I am all about it. We have a good amount of ITRs in AZ, we really should get together more often.

My wife always grabbed the handle on the passenger side roof when she she would panic..................So I removed it, I purchased the plugs that are on the drivers side and filled the holes

The road from Prescott to Cottonwood/Sedona is one of the best out in that area. The road from Sedona to Flagstaff to simply beautiful (and fun). It's so nice, you'll find yourself slowing down to enjoy the view and not working on your driving line.

Highly recommended.

I was just there two weeks ago. Unfortunately I was driving a Ford Escort Rental.
Couldn't do any carving in that thing.

Nice pictures!

Looks like you had a great time!
