Alright alright lol. Respect given to our elders and those who have tuned s2ks before me and i am being honest in that statement ... I was just wanting to see some pics of what it looks like, nobody has done that in my area.

Oh ok. I never had pictures, but one of the local guy has a Berlina, with tan seats and tan door inserts. Looks good. Go for it if that's your thing. I might be able to hook you up with some pieces...

go for it.

i kept the center console piece black. its cleaner that way in my opinion if youre keeping the ap1 center console plastic because its not symmetric. ap2 is symetric and goes all the up to the radio door, so a tan console piece works better.

they usually sell for more than blacks ones on ebay. the doors and carpets usually arent for sale tho. it also makes me question the seller when it doesnt to be honest...

and are generally harder to find simply due to less production numbers. but a lot of GPW owners dont like the tan and are willing to switch with someone.

i have seat locks on mine. so dont bother.

btw, for ap1, only 2003 GPW had tan interior. so the door cards are a bit rarer if you want to keep ap1 look. but most dont care or would rather go to ap2 anyway.

i also plan on changing that grey plastic headrest back plate and guage cluster to all black from the early ap1 style. i want an all black dash.

Yours is that gray-ish color? I think I have a cluster trim somewhere from the Berlina.

No seat backs, but I do need new ones since my currents are a little scuffed. LMK how much the black ones cost.

im even more lazy to not consider repainting them either.

truth be spoken.
it took me a while to switch out all the tan pieces.
personally, i like tan and black, but not white and tan.

and to the original poster, if you do decide to go with the tan, i still have my tan carpet, floormats, center console cover, and ap2 door panels up for grabs.
