Axles For 92-95 ZC DOHC Swap?
i put a 92-95 dohc zc in my 94 civic..i have heard mixed options on axles(some are to short this and that)..im going to use the zc tranny..but what axles will i need to use it?
if i'm not mistaking, the ZC setup uses a half shaft(intermediate shaft)
and has equal length axles.
thats why i thought i read people just used a USDM tranny and regular d series axles
you may be able to do that ayway and get rid of the intermediate shaft, althought i'm not 100% sure about any of this
good luck

if they used reg. d series axles wouldnt one be longer than the other, because they dont use an intermediate shaft? You might have better luck posting on the EF forum, since alot of those guys use ZC swaps and probably deal with EG's too.
the older zc's did use equal length axles and a half shaft, just like b series.
(pretty sure the 89-earlier dohc d16's in integra's were equal length with 1/2shaft)
thats why i said most just keep the usdm axles/tranny with the zc motor.
i dont think the ZC's differential is any different, so regular usdm axles(long and short ones) should go right in, just leave off the 1/2 shaft off the block and use regular USDM axles

If you want to use the halfshaft then you will need the integra of that year
