Default HASport vs. Stock mounts motor height?

My 92 Si with a GSR currently has a combonation of stock motor mounts. It works fine for a street car other than it seems the engine sits pretty high. Do the Hasport mounts sit the engine any lower or is it about the same? As it sits right now, my throttle cable and valve cover touch the hood when it's fully closed.

What hood do you have? For 92-95 you need to play with the bump stops so it stops hitting unless you have a CF hood, I believe VIS made a new design from there orignals that clear swapped cars.

Yeah it's got what I believe is an older style VIS CF hood. It's more the underhood bracing that's touching than anything else.

So the solution is just do get a new hood? That's easy.

My stock replacement hasports are exact replacements for the factory mounts with the same engine height.

Because the bottom line is in order to clear the motor and throttle cable, the hood is going to have to come up. I'm not willing to have a hood that doesn't line up worth a schitt to save a couple hundred bucks. I might adjust the hood on there while I wait on something that will clear it, but I'm not going to settle for a misadjusted hood.

He cant, first gen VIS hoods are 100% NOT swap friendly without cutting out the skeleton (which i did and still touched a little). Other then that theres nothing more you could really do.
