obd0 b16a pr3 ecu. Recently my car has been cutting off (engine power totally gone until it stalls) when cruising the highway and even just sitting at idle sometimes. It will buck slightly too like its happening intermittantly sometimees also. I have a new fuel pump for it but im not certain thats the prob cause it dies instantly, not like it slowly runs outta fuel. I will check my main relay, but im sure its in the ignition system. If i were to order an ignitor/icm for this b16 , what model car would i order it for. TIA

 

Start at the base of the problem and work back.

Check your plugs, the gap, and see if they are lean misfiring (white tip)

Check to see if the wires are good. (ground each one to the block)

Thats a start, but Im guessing its one of those 2. Good luck

 

I swapped out the main relay and havent got it to cut out yet so hopefully Its fixed.

 

main relay for SURE if not check the ignitor and all ignitors are the same preferable order a DA one and just change the ignitor using the same bracket that bolts to your original one on the new piece!

Was just going to say, check the relay. Sounds like the issue.
