I've got a pretty loud valve tick on my '84 CB700 nighthawk and it gets REALLY annoying. I was wondering if there was a way to figure out what exactally is causing it. I'm thinking its either the rocker arms or adjusters. Let me know if i'm on the right track

Could i just do a valve adjustment and be done with it? or would i have to start replacing parts. Reason i ask is that each rocker arm is about $50 from the dealer and each adjuster is about 30 bucks.. and with 4valves per cyl. thats a pricey bill.
