Default Car dies while driving, searched

D15 engine, will stall while driving and not restart by releasing clutch. When I pull over, I have to crank and crank before it will restart and sometimes it won't even turn over. Could this be a bad main relay? I am getting a code 3 also. This started happening gradually and now it is to the point it won't stay running for 5 minutes. Also when it warms up, idle drops to around 200 RPM. Please help!

Any ideas? Now no codes, car ran at idle for about 15 minutes, shut off and now will not start. Have fuel and spark.

bad main relay is a very common reason for this type of thing.

All the codes you get are from sensors inside the distributor. Time for a new one, most likely. Open it up and look for parts/stringy wire/oil...

If the main relay is bad will the fuel pump still prime and will it turn over?

when you turn the key to run(not all the way to crank it, the last stop b4 you push it to crank it)
do you hear the pump run?

if not, its the relay

map sensor signal is bad! either sensor went out! the plug to the sensor is corroded or the ecu pinouts are corroded check the C plug on the ecu harness or go to http://tech.hybridgarage.com/tech/index.html check ecu pinouts for map sensor and make sure its making a good conection had the same prob on a homies DA it was just a bad plug and we re sodered a new one on! problem was gone
