Yea... lucky for me it was done last night.... today I was about to install my new ITR head with all sorts of goodies...

BTW they stole it off my driveway and I am in the a pretty suburban area, as in I see a cop maybe once a year within a 3 mile radius of my house... I don't know how they found my car but they must have known what it had...

Honestly, I'd check with friends/people you know that know OTHER people. More than likely it wouldn't be your friends directly, but someone they KNOW that could have heard what you had by word of mouth. I mean in the big cities anyone can see or just steal it to hope to get something good. But in little areas, it's usually someone you know/have heard of before.

Yeah, I have a couple ideas on who it may be or who's friends.... but it seemed like a professional job, they either took it on a flat-bed... or knew a lot, because it was locked all windows up, alarm system, there was no broken glass no tire marks nothing....
Car was just gone.
And no-one I know would be able to do that.

Found my car!
Completely stripped in Prince George's County, MD (Hyattsville or something)
So my $5k block is gone, my $2k turbo setup is gone, my $1500 sound system is gone, my $400 radar detector is gone, my Driver's License and Passport are both gone (just got back from out of the country and left them in the car overnight)....

Who would vote for penalty of GTA to be execution?

in for results...had my car jacked my freshman year of college. depending upon your insurer, they usually wont help you out much (i work for state farm). they will if you add special endorsements and riders on your policy but even then its tough to get a full reimbursement.

my heart goes out to you and i hope you get your money/time/effort back. gL.

The only solid detrant in my eyes is too block the Hondas in with nice new cars, that way they would have to move a bunch of **** just to get to one of mine.!!

Sucks for ur loss, time to come back bigger and better.

You'll probably have some illegal pretending to be you in no time.

I'd figure out who needs to know... but I'd get it legally documented that that stuff is gone. Specifically the Passport.

I'd be more worried about this... than the car.

Your car isn't safe anywhere. I've had three of my friend's cars stolen from the front of my house while we were at dinner, my gf's wheels got jacked while we were sleeping, etc. If you had a garage your car may be safe but my roommate's car was stolen while he was working at Arundel Mills mall at around 6pm. Of course it landed in good ole PG county, stripped of all its essentials. These ************* are experts. The best theft deterent to me is still the good ole' fashion club that attaches from the bottom of the steering wheel to the clutch pedal.

You say there experts yet you think that club is going to stop them? That's a joke! Any so called "expert" that's going to try and steal you ride is going to come with a flatbed or will simply know the tricks to get by that stupid club. I'm not sure if they just cut through the pedal or what. I thought I remembered reading somewhere about how thieves get around that clutch/brake club somewhere.

I run a GPS system and that's really the only safe way these days.

PS: love the avatar, that show is hilarious

Heh, if you think that... your car isn't safe. Nothing is safe. If they want it... they'll take it. Even from locked garages with cars in the way.

Its a risk... nothing really deters them... just visible stuff helps to deter the druggies looking for fast cash sales of stereos and such.
