that and youll run in to some axle problems and not all swaps will be same, be prepared to fabricate some stuff as well and also droppinn it in you got hoist right?

umh also dont 4get to but all fluids ahead of time and clean up real good check for any cracks leaks thoroughly also make sur everything is tight no loose bolts rusting and remember to keep anti-sieze handy for when drop is done..cause all that washing and cleaning aint worth it if you dont maintain it's durability...

With the H22 for EG mounts it'll drop right in. Aside form wiring up the resistor box you'll only have to get the H22 in EG axles (or I believe you can use a combo from another car but I'm not sure which) & ECU of course.

Should be set after that.

Break the engine in? It's not new.

Also, why would the tranny feel weird, feels just like any other shifter...

Weird ****.

My friend had an H22 bubble and it shifted like my EX. It also idled fine.

I don't know, I don't claim to be a king of any motor none-the-less H22's.

Somebody else could probably shed better light on it as to why.

Though to the original poster - I don't think this matters as much as it's not even purchased none-the-less in his car yet.

Shifting with cable linkage, does have a different feel to it, over the rods. But it is nothing to freak out over.

Ooooooooooo

That's what he meant.

Blah, I don't view the cable/hydro difference in shifting as a "major obstacle to driving." Yeah it feels different, but like...if you've driven like...more than one manual car in your entire life you completely disregard it...

Just a heads up for ya, your gonna want to relocate your brake lines and your prop valve to a lower spot on the firewall. My friend had an H22 del sol that pinched a brake line, and dented the prop valve pretty good because the intake mani sits pretty much on the firewall. About the shifting, you have to realize that an h22 trans is cable, not linkage.. so it might not be as dialed in or "notchy" as your stock setup would be because its pretty much not for your car. You have to take the good with the bad, as for the axles im not sure about that either but my buddy had a pretty wicked setup so he chose to go with a company from florida that makes axles for your specific application. As for the name of that company, I dont know. You will also have to modify your exhaust but thats pretty much the case with every hybrid Honda. Good luck.

Never had brake line issues with my F20B swap. I think alot depends on which mounts are used too though.
