i already searched, please dont flame. lol. anyways
i have a 88 crx si, and i took off the old intake mani cause it looked like crap and installed one from my parts car. (hf with si engine ect....) after i installed it, i went to hook up all the lines (that go to the little canisters) and low and behold they are different, i cant find an image of the intake that my car has on now, so i will describe it as best i can...

looks identical to the d16a6 intake mani BUT, has extra line (idle air control or whatever you want to call it where the black little hoses connect....) and another extra one on the regulator basically where the buterfly is at....

basically, what i am asking is how i would go about hooking up all the hoses to the little black canisters on the firewall, the car starts and runs fine for a few seconds, but then starts dieing cause seems like somethings not working right, gave it enough gas for a while to find code 3 and 5. (map) if you have any pictures, please post!!! i need this all done asap!!!

the only "black canister" u need to hook up is the map sensor. that huge one on the side with the red hoses connected to it... trash it... u can take it out... and as for the vaccume stuff... just connect everything to whatever nipple is convienient and any nipples left over, just cover it and you'll be fine....

 

what is the map sensor canistor sensor look like, can you show a pic??? i will try to take pics of setup currently... thanks!
